Twighlight ING Matches to be held in Tasmania

The Tasmanian Cricket Association (TCA) is pleased to announce that in a new initiative instigated by the TCA, non-televised ING Cup matches in Tasmania this season will be commence at 12 noon and conclude at 7.45pm.The Chief Executive David Johnston said; "We feel that by altering the times of the three matches it will give patrons the opportunity of spending time doing other things in the morning and then spending a pleasant afternoon and evening supporting the Cascade Tasmanian Tigers."The new initiative will apply to three of the five ING Cup matches in Tasmania.These will include:

Sunday, January 4, 2003	Tigers v Bushrangers at Devonport.
Monday, January 26,2003	Tigers v Bulls at Bellerive.
Sunday, February 1, 2003	Tigers v Warriors at the NTCA Ground, Launceston

The remaining two matches both at Bellerive on November 1st and November 29th will commence at the normal time of 10.00am.With fine weather and balmy evenings patrons and families will be able to enjoy the cricket while not intruding on normal family commitments earlier in the day.
