Everton got back to winning ways against West Ham after Marco Silva made five changes to the side which lost to Burnley before the international break.
Tom Davies was one of those who earned a recall and alongside the returning Andre Gomes – who had spent time out injured – the pair helped to dictate the game for the Toffees, and were influential in their side picking up the three points.

The England U21 captain managed an impressive pass accuracy of 85% which helped his side to the majority of possession, and his display earned him a lot of recognition amongst the fanbase.
Coming up against Declan Rice meant he had to perform, too, as the England international has started the season brightly in terms of tackles and interceptions, with an average of 3.4 and 2.2 per league game respectively.
Davies, though, looked comfortable throughout and impressed with the amount he passed the ball forward, putting his side on the front foot and ensuring the Hammers didn’t claw their way back into the game after falling behind.
