Aston Villa fans are speculating that Leonardo Ulloa is on his way to the Midlands club after he was left out of Leicester City’s squad today.
Manager Claude Puel opted against including the Argentine in his matchday squad for this afternoon’s clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The exclusion comes after the Foxes recruited a new striker in the form of Fousseni Diabate from Ligue 2 side Gazelec Ajaccio.
According to the Birmingham Mail, the 2015-16 Premier League champions have been open to offloading Ulloa as long as they can find a replacement.
With Diabate now through the door, some Villa fans think that their club could be on the verge of bringing Ulloa to the club.
The local media recently reported that the Midlands outfit have already made contact with Leicester regarding a deal.
The Telegraph has claimed that Daniel Amartey is also on Villa’s radar.
Villa fans took to Twitter after noticing that Ulloa had not made Leicester’s matchday squad, while Amartey was handed a starting spot.
