In a Championship clash between two in-form American forwards, Josh Sargent and Haji Wright, it was the Coventry striker who stole the spotlight. Norwich looked set to leave the Coventry Building Society Arena with all three points, but Wright struck in the dying seconds with a chipped finish to seal a draw on Saturday..
Coming through in the clutch
Norwich initially stunned Coventry with Mathias Kvistgaarden scoring against the run of play in the 17th minute to put the Canaries up 1-0. Coventry dominated the visitors in every attacking stat, but couldn't find a way past the opposition's defense – shooting 28 times in the game.
In the final second of stoppage time, Wright took advantage of Norwich's inability to clear the ball out of the box and toe-poked his shot into the goal to ensure Coventry a split of the points.

Wright's goal was deserved considering the shift he put in throughout the match. He won six duels, had five shots, and created a goal-scoring opportunity. It was his fifth goal in his last four matches.
On the other end, it was a quiet afternoon for Sargent. The striker, who had won the Championship's Player of the Month award for a sizzling August, had just one shot and one completed dribble against Coventry.

Following the draw, Coventry remain in sixth in the Championship while Norwich are in ninth. The Sky Blues will now travel to face Leicester on Sept. 20, while host the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned Wrexham at home.
